Edinburgh 17/08/2007. International Book Festival. Born in London, Adam LeBor extensively covered the Yugoslav wars for the Independent and The Times. After graduating from Leeds University in 1983 with a degree in Arabic, International History and Politics, he worked for several national British newspapers before becoming a foreign correspondent in 1991. Since then he has traveled extensively in eastern and central Europe, covering wars, upheavals and lighter topics from the Baltics to the Balkans.
